For the month of December, our family wrote little notes and messages to each other and tucked them in stockings, to read on Christmas Day. This was part of the Nordic Christmas Box from the Good and the Beautiful, which included a cute little notepad of Christmas theme note paper and stickers. Just a simple act of a few kinds words brought so much joy, I wanted to recreate this experience for the month of February, and thus, this idea for Love Notes came to be!
To add to the fun, we created paper mailboxes for everyone in our house. I used some white mailing boxes that I had on hand, but you could get creative with a shoebox or whatever materials you have.
I printed several sheets of Love Notes, cut them, and put them in a basket along with some stickers. Now we have a little display where they kids can walk up at anytime, write a note, fold it, seal with a sticker, and put it in someone's mailbox! Pictures below of our creations, but of course you can use your imagination for a set up that will work best for your family.
